Wedding Fairs
Wedding fairs are a great way to find just what you need to make your wedding perfect. From dresses to cakes and from cars to photographs these events provide the opportunity to see the wares on offer in local businesses and to meet the people who provide those essential services.
There may be a bridal fashion show to help plan just how the wedding party will look and there may be the chance to taste some of that delicious wedding cake or sample a chocolate fountain.
There are various kinds of wedding shows so make sure you choose the kind that you wish to visit. Sometimes hotels or other venues hold open days. This gives you the opportunity to see the venue dressed for a wedding and often there may be some refreshments on offer. The number of suppliers at these events tends to be limited to one or two in each sector that the venue often works with. If you want to use someone different, check that the venue doesn't insist on use of their preferred suppliers.
Other fairs may be organised by events companies or other bodies. In these cases the exhibitors will have paid to exhibit and there will usually be a wider selection of suppliers to investigate but the venue may not look its best because it's hidden behind all the stands.
